Right so this is it. The travel diary and online blog that will hopefully not only act as a way for our family and friends to follow us on our trip around the world but to give others a bit of advice for their very own future trips.

Travelling is something we have wanted to do for a long time. And when I say we, I really mean Soph. Having visited South America in 2008, Soph has experienced a little of what it’s like to be away in a foreign country, seeing things that are totally alien to anyone living out their lives in England. She has ever since vowed to leave again but this time with me. I have always nodded and said we would 100% go one day but without ever thinking it would actually happen. Well it is happening. We have packed in our jobs, our responsibilities and our mundane lives to leave for Asia on November 4th.

After Asia we will visit Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and America before coming home again. We will look to keep posting as many pictures and updates as and when we can, sharing some bits on our Facebook and Twitter page. So be sure to follow us and we hope you enjoy reading about our time away.
